I'm exploring the backstory for the prison.
BACKSTORY:
MB and Joey have actually escaped from a prison, by blowing two large balloons, attached to their cells. This is the reason why they are floating in the air.
They are floating on a piece of the prison (the rest of it still on the ground, somewhere).
This is just a finer touch, that doesn't change the main story, but it does affect design.
Here it is an idea for the floating tower... it's based on the photo of Castel Sant'Angelo in Rome. It was a prison back in the medieval period.
Other options I'm exploring are Alcatraz or the Tower of London. They would change the time period quite drastically.
